The Great Cow Tag Race

The Great Cow Tag Race
Fifty Heifer Tags released at the 2011 Sonoma County GeoRally race around the world to the 2012 Sonoma County GeoRally.
How does it work?
All participants received their tags’ tracking numbers, and activated their tags, including some standard tags (but otherwise dressed up their pages however they wish), and logged their tags into the event: http://www.coord.info/GC2NRD3. The tags were mailed to Moozer, the event coordinator, prior to the event, and cachers visiting the event picked up the tags and get them moving.
Categories
First In - first Heifer Tag checked into the 2012 Sonoma County GeoRally. The tag must be checked into the event in person.
Longest Journey - the Heifer Tag that has accumulated the most mileage and that has been checked into the event in person.
Most Interesting Journey - the Heifer Tag that has, by the close of the 2012 GeoRally, had the most interesting (in terms of photos and logs) journey, as judged by a panel of guest judges. The Tag need not have made it to the GeoRally.
Prizes
Winners of each of the above event categories win bragging rights, a winner’s logo, and a standard-sized cache container stuffed with the primest, most quirky Japanese ¥100-store swag* that Jackalgirl is able to find, as well as an unactivated “Good Deeds” geocoin.

Cows Around the World
Fifty Heifer Tags available for general purchase travel around the world with any mission.
How does it work?
Participants may purchase tags at Jackalgirl’s site: www.grafikato.com. Participants will receive the actual Heifer Tags to prepare and release as desired.
Categories
Most Original Tag - Tag with the most original item attached. The actual “bug” attached to the tag should somehow relate to the theme of charity, especially self-sustaining charity. A winner will be announced on April 28, 2012.
Squee! - The most adorable Tag, as judged by panel of guest judges. A winner will be announced on April 28, 2012. Make sure you check out Snoogans’ TB Longevity Clinic for hints on how to make your tags less attractive to thieves, as cute tags/bugs are often targets.
Most Interesting Journey - the Heifer Tag that has, by April 28, 2012, had the most interesting (in terms of photos and logs) journey, as judged by a panel of guest judges.
Longest Journey - Participants need not submit their tags for consideration for this category: a list of the top tags in terms of accumulated mileage by April 28, 2012 will be generated, and then owners will be contacted, in sequential order, until someone replies in the affirmative that they’re willing to be declared the winner.
Prizes
Winners of each of the above event categories win bragging rights, a winner’s logo, and a small/medium-sized cache container stuffed with the primest, most quirky Japanese ¥100-store swag*, as well as an unactivated “Good Deeds” Artist’s Edition geocoin in Heifer International colors.

*Note that Japanese ¥100 stores are not like the dollar stores found in the US. Japanese trinket swag is awesome.
